Those of you that wanted to bring a dish to the ACM event today please do so.  Hilliard and Joji will certainly appreciate your contributions.  If you want to assist in the event contact Hilliard at: hilliardmeeks@gmail.com

Also, for those attending, parking will be on the street. Guest speakers and even organizers may park in the parking on College Hill. For those interested in helping please call me.

Sorry for being MIA. Just pumped about this event. I am hoping that it will lead to better cohesion in the local film community as well as better cohesion between UH students and the local film community. Just some apologies early. 1. The flyer was a rush job. I was in military drill putting it together at 3am. Proof read!!! Proof Read!!!! Proof Read!!!2. My accessibility was very limited to you guys. This is something I want to fix in the future. 3. Any organizations, acting coaches, or resources that I left out. I apologize on this first one. My goal is to put together some kind of gathering for the school and local community. Other than that, I am stoked about the maiden voyage of what can possibly be a more cohesive film culture here in Hawaii. From humble beginnings, comes greatness through hard work and nurturing. Aloha. See you all there.

Hawaii actors please support Joji Yoshida lobbying for more Film & TV productions in Hawaii.  He's going back to the State Capitol to talk to the legislators.  Contact Joji and ask what you can do to help him.  He can be reached at: rebel6@gmail.com

Hilliard,  I'm glad Joji and you're taking the lead to connect Hawaii's talent.  As you probably know Joji is getting prepared to go back to the legislature.  Hawaii needs more leaders like the two of you to bring forth a vibrant film industry in the islands.

Scott,  Having talent and good looks doesn't guarantee success.  I've seen so many local actors move to Hollywood unprepared.  The majority find little success and giving up on their dreams.  I can see you're doing the right things.  Keep up the excellent work.

Please support this film, "Samurai Cop 2"  We are trying to get local actor Garret Sato in it.

And we hope to bring productions to Hawaii.
