And once again you take a suggestion that was meant to be helpful and interpret it as a personal insult. And then turn around and start insulting me.

Why do you even have a HAN Administrative Team group, which supposedly is so that members can make suggestions and have them reasonably evaluated, when all you ever do is take everything as personal insults?

Mark and his team from Facebook everyday works hard to make sure everyone is successful and when two brothers thought that can be something to model for Hawaii's Film Industry we are degraded pick at and called duffes! Wow ~ oh well life goes on! Back to promoting Hawaii's Film Industry ~ We love Hawaii's Film Industry! Rooting for our Industry

Comment by Michael Snoopy Wells on June 16, 2013 at 11:41am

Yes I'm sure there are highly talented and creative actors that can come up with something better because the two duffes that started this network to help others can't! So can you help us to see something better than "We are not successful until you are" Because it's hard for two  duffes to see it! LMAO

Who's gets mad at someone for wanting others to be successful? nobody got time for that!

Comment by Michael Snoopy Wells on June 16, 2013 at 10:47am

@Roger Everything we do is for the empowerment and success of Hawaii's Film Industry! Hawaii's Film Industry is all of us! So for you to assume that it is just for the Wells Brothers glory, then weather you get it or not you are dead wrong period! As we try to help others be successful in Hawaii's Film Industry it is only then we all can be looked at in Hawaii's Film Industry as successful! I know you don't want us The Wells Brothers to be successful and that's ok because our praises comes from God! Let's try to come with ways You can help others then worrying about us! Grown here or flown here, We are in this together! I would love to see You be more positive and helping others then picking out all the things you don't like and getting upset that we the Wells want to see you successful! This network is for Hawaii's Film Industry and yes the Wells Brothers too!

I think you fully understand what you think you mean!

I fully understand what it means. I'm simply pointing out that it is so incredibly generic that it can apply to absolutely any organziation or company in the world. Surely someone in our group of highly talented and creative actors can come up with something better.

And if the "We" in the existing catchphrase refers to the members in general, then it's a tautology, "We aren't successful until we are successful". Kind of an empty statement, don't you think? If, on the other hand, the "We" refers to the specific people who started up and run the group then, well, think about how that would sound if the president of McDonalds told all its workers "I'm not successful until all of you are successful", as if the workers's efforts should be directed towards making the leaders successful. I'm not sure what to call that, but it's probably not something that the workers would care to hear.

So, something that's a little more catchy and SPECIFIC to the acting community might be nice.

@ Roger Garrett, The catch phrase "We are not successful until you are" simply means there are many members of Hawaii's Film Industry that has been striving for years to have success within the film industry. Our job here @ HAN is to provide them with a platform that will help them on their journey to success. So with that being said we feel that HAN will not be successful until the members of Hawaii's Film Industry are achieving success from our efforts. If you are not striving for success for your career within Hawaii's Film Industry then that catch phrase won't apply to you.

Thanks in advance for understanding.

I'm thinking you might consider coming up with a catch-phrase that's more specific to actors. The current phrase "We are not successful until you are" is pretty generic and has nothing particular to do with acting. Surely there's enough talent within HAN to come up with something better.
