Calling All African American Males Aged 8-17 for a Full Length Indie Film

Poke & Poi production company is looking for African American actors/extras aged 8-17 for their full length Independent film. Actors of African descent are encouraged to apply.

The film will be entered into various film festivals such as HIFF and others around the nation. There is no compensation, however you will have an opportunity to work with award winning directors and gain more experience in the film industry. The money raised from the film will go towards charities that help to rescue and restore those who have been victims of being Child Soldiers in Uganda. 

Filming starts in early July so please send in head shots ASAP to and we will schedule an audition time.

inspire. And closing night is a special African American Heritage
Concernt featureing Church James and special guests.

Reception includes elegant pupu by chef Sean Priester of Soul, a glass
of wine and live music. Jesse Owens and Josephine Baker screen at
