Well here it is folks! The last season of Lost. I got an e-mail from Brenda Ching, the Hawaii SAG rep. with info for anyone who would like to be considered for auditions when they come up:

Rachel Sutton, Principals casting

Julie Carlson, Background actors casting

Contact number: (808) 733-4015

Principals email: lostcasting@gmail.com

Background actors email: lostcastinghawaii@gmail.com

Note: If you emailed a photo last season or auditioned, it is not necessary to contact “Lost” casting. However, if you have new contact information, please contact casting to update.

I encourage every actor from the Big Island to submit their info. I know last year when I spoke with Rachel she told me that they've started to run out of actors they can use on Oahu so this could be a great opportunity for some of us!

I dont know who said that. I e-mailed Rachel today and got a quick response. You can call the number and ask them for their mailing address, though. Yes, Kathy Muller submits people when the casting call asks for certain looks or types of actors. For example, at one point last year they were looking for asian-looking actors who could speak Korean and another time they needed as many middle-eastern looking people as they could find for scenes that took place in an Iraqi marketplace. Make sure you send your resume and headshot to Joy ASAP! But also send directly to casting as well. Kathy Muller only submits for principal roles. If you can fly to Oahu on a moment's notice you can get in on extra work as well which you keep all the money for!
Doing extra work is how I got my foot in the door and I always recommend people be as flexible and as available as possible. Sometimes they'll call you days in advance, sometimes the day before and sometimes even the day they need you. The nice thing is that if they can't find enough SAG people to work as extras, you have a better chance to work on a Taft-Hartley. Do enough of those and you're eligible for your SAG card.

Shawn, someone said they're not taking email submissions...only via snail mail...is this true or do you know for sure? Is Kathy Muller submitting, too? If we want to be considered for both do we email/mail to both people? And when is the deadline? thanks...

Hi,   I am Jolie Argentine from So. Cal.   I hosted a concert on the West Shore of Oahu two years ago, I was signed with the Honolulu Movie production company and years ago modeled for Dick Brewer boards in Oahu.  I have had small speaking roles, modeled and been many a movie extra.  Usually the other women type roles, or part of the beach scene in surf films. I was trained in an advanced acting course at UCLA when I was twenty two.   This year I helped host the Cold Water Classic surf contest in Santa Cruz, Northern Cali. I am single but i lived in Kauai with my husband and daughter for five years.  I became a personal trainer after joining the Kauai Athletic Club with my husband.  I am now happily living in Kona on the Big Island and work for Craig Shaffer's company.   I am a Bonded Horse Trainer, and don't go anywhere without my two saddles.   My hobbies include every water sport which is why I have been in love with Hawaii since my first Hawaiian vacation at the age of eighteen.   Thank You   Jolie Jett Argentine    mailing address:  P.O.
