Disney project in development:

Gazzam tapped to pen Disney's Hawaii pic

Details under wraps for untitled family adventure

Joe Gazzam has been tapped to write an untitled family adventure set in Hawaii for Disney that Ahmet Zappa's Monsterfoot Prods and Scott Sanders Prods will shepherd.

Details of the project are being kept under wraps.

Gazzam is also writing Universal's "It Takes a Thief," based on the TV series, for John Davis and Joe Singer. His credits also include Sony's "21 Jump Street," Dino De Laurentiis Company's "Barbarella" and rewrote "Step Up 4."

Disney inked a first-look deal with Zappa in 2008. He's currently at work on the Mouse House's "Monster Witness Relocation Program."

Monsterfoot and Scott Sanders also recently produced Disney's upcoming "The Odd Life of Timothy Green."

Gazzam is repped by ICM, Circle of Confusion and attorney Jeff Frankel.

Big Island actors and models-

Please take my advice and be very, VERY careful who you choose to represent you.  There are those "agencies" out there who will charge you to be placed on their websites, charge you for worthless "workshops", stage faux pageants that they charge you to enter and will push you to do work for free with promises that it will improve your portfolio which, of course, you have to purchase from them after they tell you that you have to sign an exclusive contract for five years.  Now, it's important that you FOCUS on what you really want out of an acting or modeling career.  Because if you don't FOCUS on your goals and FOCUS on standing up for yourself and educating yourself, you will learn the truth the hard way.  Just like I did.
