For those of you who had been extras/stand-ins, etc., on the recent Life Unknown/Pali Road feature film that wrapped at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Feb. 13, here's what the Star-Adv. finally wrote about it today 3/1/2015 (attached).

Dennis Oda had been taking photos while we were filming, and I was wondering when the photos would show up (there's a link in the article to more of his photos on their Web site).

Since a lot of us there weren't given much info on the storyline/marketing of the film, etc., I think this article should be interesting because it explains a lot more about the project and the principals involved, etc.

Decided to scan the article rather than send a link, since not everyone will be able to access the link unless they have a subscription to the paper, in addition to possible copyright issues.....? ;/

Just FYI,

Need Musicians to Record Two Songs

TAG - The Actors Group is currently in rehearsals for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, which opens March 6. We had planned to use live musicians on stage, but the piano we have is hopelessly out of tune. We'll have to record two blues songs for the show. We have a guitar player who can set up a recording session next Saturday, the 21st, at the HPR studio.  We need musicians to play piano, trumpet and stand-up bass. If you can help us out, please contact Laurie Tanoura, Production Manager, at 808-741-4699 or Lillian Jones, Director, at 808-292-0676.
