Filmmaking Club

808films.com is a film club made up of local people with varying levels of
filmmaking experience. There is no fee to join and participate.
This is a real club.
The responses we've been receiving has been fantastic.

The upcoming project will allow many of us to meet for the first time. We're calling it
our Meet-n-Greet-n-Shoot. It is in keeping with one of our mantras which is to
stay very active.

If you are not able to make this shoot, no worries, we plan to announce more
shoots on Oahu very soon including scripts that include more adults in the cast.

Here are the details:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
From the co-writer of “Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance” and “Jackie Claxton: Greener Pastures.”
Tony Young’s feature film, “Micky’s Summer Resort” premieres this month at
Comic Con Honolulu
Friday night at 7:45 p.m.
July 29, 2016
at the Hawaii Convention Center,
1801 Kalakaua Ave
Honolulu, HI 96815
The film is about a Catholic schoolboy gets a dream job as a screener at a European-style resort. Unbeknownst to them, Micky Littleton harbors a supernatural secret. He can zap anyone he doesn’t like into an alternate dimension where they are comically tortured by their greatest fears.
Shot on a microbudget in and around Los Angeles, CA, this sci-fi teen comedy stars familiar faces Alicia Arden (“General Hospital,” “Baywatch”) and Clement Von Franckenstein (“Hail Caesar.”)
Local actor Josh Marguelies makes a cameo as Jesus Christ.

“Micky’s Summer Resort” is written and directed by Tony Young, produced by Clinton H. Wallace
