Aloha everyone at Fresh New Talent. Saw the pic of Johnny Depp & have funny story about being kidnapped by those pirates. My boyfriend has a slip at the harbor. He snuck onto the boat & got a smoke from Johnny Depp & talked story with him. Sat right next to Penelope Cruz. A couple nights later, Dave, Trish & I caught the crew shuttle to the pirate boat & boarded with everyone else. Just wandered around & stayed out of the way. Taked story with some pirates as they were filming fight scenes. The boat pulled away from the dock & we were stranded. Wouldn't you know it I got a call to get in to work (nursing) about 11 pm (phone on vibrate) and was stuck on the ship! Finally another shuttle came and we were able to catch a ride to shore :-). So, there you have it, kidnapped by pirates on the Queen Annes Revenge. Daves friends also got him some souveniers from when they took the boat apart, a belaying pin and skeleton piece. Never done anything like that before & was scared we'd get in trouble but everyone was so nice. D.J.
