Aloha fellow HAN members,

I'm hoping this email finds everyone in good health and spirits. As you all know, we will soon have a new administration in office. This is a great opportunity to show them that we are ready to support the efforts to reinstate the Hawaii film office and encourage films to continue coming to Hawaii. This year the Hawaii film industry has generated a record amount of revenue for the entire state. We really need the film industry to continue growing so ALL Hawaii businesses will remain in business.

Please join us in this grass roots movement to fertilize and activate the Hawaii film industry on Friday, December 17, 2010. We need EVERYONE that makes up the Hawaii film industry to join in as we lobby to keep films coming to Hawaii in order that we are able to move towards having a self sustained film industry providing more and more opportunity for our local filmmakers. We will need volunteers and organizers to help with the efforts of this rally.

If you want to see this industry grow then we need your support! Acting coaches, talent agencies, filmmakers, photographers, actors, casting directors, film festival organizers, props department, teamsters and union members are being called into action. When the time comes that our new administration takes a look at restoring the Hawaii film office, they need to have an idea as to how many people their decisions affect. In order to make a difference, we need to come together in UNITY and agree on this together. Go to the HAN rally event and let us know that you will be there.

We will need help with the following:
1. Sign makers
2. Water and/or juices
3. Transportation/carpool organizers
4. Sponsorship for HAN t-shirts
5. Sponsorship for snacks
6. Lots of smiling faces! :)

If you have an idea as to how we can make this a complete success, we would love to hear from you! Email us info@hawaiiactors.com
Together we stand, divided we fall!!!
