Hi Y'all:

Wow!!!  Did you see Hawaii-Five-0's episode 0419 - Ku I Ka Pili Koko (Blood Brothers), tonight?

If you did not notice it was a great "Switch-And-Bait" scene of 2 locations matted to make you think is was one in the same, area surrounding it.

Before, anybody assumes that I am leaking state Five-0 secrets?  I was not near this episode's location(s) during filming, and just caught the preview and episode, to piece it together, now.

So, what are these 2 locations masquerading as one and how did I figure it out, you are thinking?

Here is the answers: 1. The building that is shown after the explosion is the partially-demolished Sears Ala Moana, where the Boy's Clothing Department was located, on the Piikoi and Ala Moana corner of the store.  2. The green field shown over the shoulder's of the actors, across street is the Diamond Head Memorial Park, and right across is the Hawaii Film Studio, where they Propped-It-Up the parking area as Rescue Team's Base of operation/rescue area.

How did I get to this conclusion: 1. I am presently documenting the demolition and reconstruction of the Ala Moana Center's Sears area, into their Ewa Wing Expansion, and a picture I snapped matches the L-Shape structure remains.  2. My Grandparents and Mother are At-Rest in Diamond Head Memorial Park and I recognized the grounds through the black rod iron fence that I remember of an audition I went to at the studio back in November, for Five-0.

Well, so much for that.  But, I like commend Director Maja Vrvilo and Writer David Wolkove for a great story and the way they Edited it altogether.  A Job Well Done!

Watch a rerun of it on CBS/KGMB:

Bill Sadler (Sgt. John McGarrett) with Jerald M S Pang, on the set - wrap of HAWAII FIVE-0 S4E13 - Hana Lokomaika'i (The Favor)...

Memorial Service scene, at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe.  I portrayed an Upscale Guest in a Suit ,  to Lt. Kam Tong Kelly (Officer Chin Ho Kelly's Father),  who was murdered.

Hi Y'all:

Well, it seems that I was out of view of the camera.  The only thing I could see was my pants-leg, when Daniel Dae Kim was walking to Grace Lee.  I was just left by 2 guys near a palm tree, on the right of screen in the distance, between 2 heads in the foreground.  But, a policeman head cut me out, just when I was getting into view.

The other scenes I am too far to distinguish my face.  From the front view: I was in top right of the screen, last person on the right, back row.  From the back view: I was in the bottom left of the screen. last person on the left, back row.
Oh Well, there is always next time.

Hi Carrie:

I thought you looked familiar, at the Base Camp during shopping center morning check-in.  Was kind of dark and so rushy, did not get a chance to ask if that was you.

I remember the Red Cadillac (Great Condition), it was right next to where they posted me and 3 others, posed as waiting chauffeurs.

I remember seeing you. Look for my red Cadillac in that episode as well! I may not be as visible.

Finally on HAWAII FIVE-0 - Hana Lokomaika'i (The Favor) S4E13, This Friday

Hi Y'all:

I finally will get to see my first HAWAII FIVE-0 (Hana Lokomaika'i (The Favor) S4E13), after all the Holiday Specials preemptions.  It airs this Friday, January 17, 2014, on KGMB (CBS), at 8:00 p.m.

Here photo of Daniel Dae Kim with Jerad M S Pang, at Base Camp - warp of HAWAII FIVE-0 S4E13 - Hana Lokomaika'i (The Favor).

I decided to release this photo today, since they revealed the plot on last week ending and it is airing this week Friday.

If you watch it, I will in the back row, on the left side, bottom of screen, of a wide-back-shot on the Memorial Service scene.  I portrayed an Upscale Guest in a Suit.  They also asked, 4 of us to portray chauffeurs (I am one), for the closing part of the service scene (on the right-background).

Happy New Year's, Again!

Hi Y'all:

It looks like the episode (413), I got called for back in November 20, 2013, will not be airing until after the start of the New Year, on January 17, 2014.  (Bummers...)

Oh well,  hopefully they will not show to many reruns for the Holidays time blitz.
