Where dreams go to work!
Shades of Darkness, a local independent feature film shot entirely on Oahu with a micro-budget is currently running a campaign on IndieGoGo in order to push it out to film festivals later this year upon completion.
It's a dark fantasy/thriller about a man who finds himself in a world of eternal darkness that he discovers may only be a fabricated dream in which the world is ruled by strange race of creatures called Planeshifters who are the masters of the dream world, one of which seems to be helping him for reasons unknown.
It's written, directed, produced and edited by Ian Adema. It stars a mostly local cast included Chris Moon (previously body double for Chin Ho and "Mr. Hawaii 2013", now in Floriday), Russell Subiono (Local Commericals, Angel By Thursday (post), Poison Apple (award winning short)), Deanne August, Jordan Matlock (Hawaii 5-0 as Lucas Hayes (now in LA)), Nancy Linsky (now on west coast), Herman Stern, and Richard Crowley (local to LA). The rest of the crew was also local.
The campaign is up through May 22 so please help support our film as well the independent and Hawaii film community.
