Hawaii needs more visionaries like Joji Yoshida who thinks outside the box.  He's not afraid to speak his mind at the legislature.  People are afraid of him because he tells the truth. Joji truly wants Hawaii to become a viable location for more film productions.  It has to be done now.

Film makers all over the world graduate every year and are looking for talent for their projects. We have been reaching out to future Film makers and letting them know Hawaii's Talent. Now weather they the best or not to me it's up to the production. Me personally love all of our talent from the little ones to the older ones. We are committed to build here in paradise.

Many of the best actors relocated to the mainland because there's no consistent work in Hawaii.  Libette Garcia, Joji Yoshida, Nick Gianforti, Garret Sato and Barry Brandt all moved away.  I know there's more actors following their lead.

Hawaii will never be like those states. We are headed in a direction that would put Hawaii's awesome talent to work, for now and the future. We are committed to share Hawaii's Film Industry with the world. There are lots of cool things going on in Hawaii's Film Industry. If we (Hawaii Film Industry) don't show the world, How will they know? You guys rock.

Michael,  Hawaii film industry isn't even close to California, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, New York and North Carolina in Film & TV productions.  In fact Hawaii isn't even in the top 20.  At the next Hawaii Film Symposium Joji Yoshida will give you the details why that is.
