Aloha my name is Jobe Allen. I am a Voice Actor. I have a smooth friendly baritone voice, great for radio, narration and voice over projects. In character however, my voice is commanding and menacing with universal authoritative qualities. I have natural comic timing and love improvisation. I believe my experiences in theater, choir, and as a phonemic language instructor have added to my versatility. My dream is to be a part of a major animated series.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS

Jobe Allen as the voice of Abercrumble.

Is there like a school somewhere here on island we can go to for voiceover lessons? Almost like how there's schools for modeling and acting?

I did a TV commercial for eTrade , that aired on the Super Bowl that year. I did this one for fun. You can practice your VO skills and have fun doing it.

Talented multi- faceted Vocal Artist for hire. Strong baritone and radio friendly voice for character roles, narration or announcement.

Here's a tip: talk to local radio stations, especially the small ones, and offer your services. Write up 30 second commercials for "widgets" or some other fake products and then record yourself on the computer using a quality audio program performing with various voices. Record onto CD and take to stations as demotapes.
I've recorded several radio commercials here on the Big Island and although I do them for swag I have fun with every experience. And I appreciate the fact that the ad people at the station see me as a resource for commercials.
