Hey gang... anyone know about a writing agent in Hawaii? Trying to find someone to represent me as a writer... if anyone has a reliable agent, please let me know.

In case anyone in this group missed the announcement, there will be a group reading on Saturday.  You can submit scripts for readings or participate as actors for practice.  If anyone is interested in attending see Elizabeth R. York.  I'm glad she got this organized.

Hi Damien,

I'd be interested in swapping coverage.  Let's trade email addresses and work out the details.

Sorry Duane,

I realize I may have posted my previous comment for the wrong group.   Correct me if I'm wrong, but you guys are more interested in acting out small pieces of your writing?  Sorry.  I'll repost my comment to the other group...

Aloha all,

Interested to see if anyone is interested in swapping coverage for their script.  I'm really busy these days, so meeting with a group would be virtually impossible.  But I'm definitely willing to read someone else's script and offer notes.

I'm hesitant about putting my work up on sites like Triggerstreet.  I'm hoping to find some solid screenwriter friends here in Hawaii who can offer solid critique.

Any takers?

Damien

Well, Duane, we only have three people able to make it and Angela would have to leave early, so I'll have to try another date.  Have a great evening.  Alan

My place is available and well-suited to it, but I am open to having it elsewhere.  If more people can make it in Waikiki or wherever, I haven't a problem doing it anywhere.

Yes, noon would be better.  Are you planning to hold the meeting at your place in Aiea?  If so, earlier meeting would make it easier for me to make it back into town to go to work at 5:30.  If change is not possible, I'll still make the 2pm.  Thanks

Thanks to both Duane & Angela for a quick positive response.  Anyone else available on the 12th?  And, Angela, would noon be better for you?

Hi, Alan, I can make the 12th at 2, but only for 2 hours.  Would like to meet the group and offer proofreading or live reading help.
