TAG - The Actors Group received a total of 20 Po'okela Awards, including 5 for people pictured here: Lillian Jones, Bill Self, Deborah Pearson and Quantae Love for acting in King Hedley II (4 awards) and Troy Apostol, for directing The Pillowman (5 awards.) Cat On A Hot Tin Roof received 7 awards, The Belle's Strategem received 2 and Anna: Love In the Cold War and Parallel Realities 1 each. Congratulations to all at TAG for an excellent 2012/2013 season.  There are 8 shows in the 2013/2014 season, so for more great live theater, check out TAG, in the Dole Cannery.

Went to Michael Rafter's Master Class - Fantastic! Sutton Foster's class is Sunday:

Saturday, February 2, 2013 • 7:30pm
UH Manoa Orvis Auditorium

Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who feels blessed to be living her dream. Sutton originated roles in the Broadway productions of Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, and Shrek the Musical.

After starring as Reno Sweeney in The Roundabout`s revival of Anything Goes, a role that earned Sutton the 2011 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics, Astaire, and`s Audience Favorite Awards, Sutton is spending some time in LA where she is starring in the new ABC Family drama, "Bunheads".

Sutton will be joined by Michael Rafter. Michael is musical director, arranger, conductor and pianist. He has worked with Sutton on a number of shows including Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Tickets go on sale in January! 

In addition to the concert Ms. Foster and Mr. Rafter will each present a workshop on singing/performing for Broadway. 

Registration for the workshop is limited to the first 10 accepted students. However, it is open to observers who must purchase a ticket as well. Ms. Foster’s workshop will be Sunday, February 3 at 6:30 PM and Mr. Rafter’s will be Thursday, January 31 at 7 PM. 

Both workshops will be at Orvis Auditorium on the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa campus. Don't miss this opportunity to work with Broadway professionals and a multiple Tony Award winner. 

Workshop tickets are available via email at Participant fee is $50 for both workshops and the observer fee is $25 for both. Tickets are not available for individual workshops.

Its been a while since I have chimed in (Miss ya Teddy & all), but I have to ask: Who is this "Pat Wentworth"??? This portal is intended for the sole use of acting, modeling, etc... Not solicitations... Teddy, if you need help handling Pat, say the word and I am on the next plane my friend!!! Caio for now, Kawika!!!
