Jaiegh Li Upclose

Jaiegh Li
Actor | Model | Business Owner | Former Pro Athlete

Jaiegh Li (born January 27, 1974) is an Jamerican actor, former pro athlete, model and business owner. He has enjoyed the pursuit of happ(y)ness in his quest to be one of the most influential role models in the world.
In the early 2000s, Jaiegh decided to hang up a career of dead end jobs & follow his first attempt at success by becoming a pro basketball player by relocating to the Great Northwest. In 2001, his decision to move to seattle put him in the position to launch his basketball career into the Europe (division 1), Asia (KBL) & The NBA. Jaiegh earned a spot on the Club Seattle Pro Am basketball team under the tutledge head coach Randy Redwine. Coach Redwine played a pivitol role in his career on and off the court. Jaiegh most memorable quote from coach redwine was " Always put yourself in the position to capitalize great opportunities". That being said, in the summer of 2003 Jaiegh earned a special summer invite from the Golden State Warriors from former pro basketball player Otis Smith (Orlando Magic General Manager). But an athletes most worst nightmare had overtaken him just a few weeks after his meeting with the NBA great. He suffered a broken wrist during his personal training camp in Vancouver, BC. which sent him in a state of depression. Despite his failure to meet his goal, Jaiegh second attempt at becoming a pro basketball player with the ABA Calgary Drillers also ended up a disaster in the summer of 2004 due to executive misfires. Jaiegh decided to resign from basketball and pursue acting.

Jaiegh's acting career was inspired by many of the blackbelt theater films, 007 Bond Films & The Predator (Alien) films. He had a natural talent for adapting to his surroundings, which put him in a position to be featured in semi cameo/atmosphere roles from 2004 to 2005. His most memorable roles was in Gatorade X Factor, X Men 3, Deja vu, Like Mike 2, and Chasing Christmas. Jaiegh transitioned from a ordinary civilian to athlete to film to business owner (Irie Pacific, LLC) through courage, determination and ignoring doubters. He is currently working on prominent international projects...

Hawaii Five 0 appreciation

I can't express how grateful I am to be on the set with great people. The entire crew since season 1 has been so nice and friendly. They work such long hours but their patience is their perseverance. I am truly blessed.
