Actor Bio:
Shawn Lathrop first started his acting career in a production of the Nativity Story at eight years old at his church, First Church of the Nazarene in Medford, Oregon. He continued performing in school plays until high school when he changed his focus to the technical side of the theater and became the first student at Phoenix High School to earn a credit for Stagecraft, a subject he created with the school's Theater Arts teacher, Bill Horton. In college, Shawn studied under Joyce Maltby and performed in the HPU production of "The Crucible" and later performed select scenes from "A View From the Bridge" and "Death of a Salesman" for a guest audience along with his Advanced Scene Study classmates. After working on several episodes of "Lost" and indie films, Shawn finally joined SAG and has worked in several full length films as well as local productions in Hawaii.

Shawn is currently appearing as Inspector Berry Cleauless in the Kona Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Paleo's Italian Cafe in
Kailua-Kona, HI.

Good point that local cops wouldn't be standing around while another local cop got beat. But I think that the idea that Kaleo's betrayal led to the death of another officer and the fact that Danno was the dead officer's former partner are pretty good mitigating circumstances. Plus it was nice to not see Danno portrayed as such an outsider. And just how many bald officers does HPD have?
