The Love of Myself

The thing that I have been learning about lately will be the thing that I will live by for the rest of my life.

If we allow people to have control over us then we will never be allowed to be ourselves... It may seem like a "duh" statement, but there is more to elaborate on (just continue to read).

My best friend is the sweetest and most compassionate person I know. The problem is; she is too sweet, too nice, and too compansionate... that's what makes her an ANGEL…

Ray Wise, Hawaii Five 0

I watched with interest, this weeks Hawaii Five 0, episode 17.

Ray Wise, an actor I had the pleasure of working with in the past, did an excellent portrayal of a Father of one of the kidnapped rich kids. Morris Brown.

We were in the the computer game production, RED ALERT ll, Uri's Revenge. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0295203/fullcredits#cast.

You can see the clip of me stealing the scene on my home…

Hawaii Film Incentive

We are so close to having the incentives necessary to have a true, robust and sustainable film industry right here in our own backyard! I know you are in the industry and I know this is something you might be interested in seeing become a reality for our community. To that end, we need your help and possibly the help of others you may know in the community. There are a few senators that we need help to convince them of the importance of passing SB1550. One senator, Senator Roz Baker, actually… Continue

What Comes Out Of Your Mouth Shows Who You Are!

Tearing someone else down to build you up will never get you anywhere. First it shows who you are, and you are only tearing down yourself. If someone is doing something wrong they will hurt themselves, they don't need you. Love is the Key. THIS IS FOR YOU!… Continue

Hawaii Community Series Expanding to Include New and (hopefully) Memorable Characters

Our series Avoiding, Preventing, Resolving Conflict is moving towards the creation of the Jones Family Adventure in which our cast of characters decide to buy a home/vacation property on Oahu.

The core of the family consists of 3 brothers, spouses, and each with on young adult child.

We first meet our characters in cameos about what they like to do. And, along the story line we also cameo characters in providing their own commentary about their actions and challenges of which…

Saying Goodbye is not acceptable!

ok. So I have a friend that is in the army who's about to be deployed for a year. I have been in this situation before and it's not a good feeling at all... its hard to get over the fact that they'll be gone for so long as well as having to fact that their life is at danger and they may not return. I love my friend and I am not looking forward to having to tell him "good bye" the day of his flight.

the most I can do at this point is enjoy his company and pray that everything will be…

Bang Bang

(This post is inspired by Nancy Sinatra)

"My baby shot me down"....

Just that line has left me to ponder the world's most controversial word, Love. We allow people to gain so much trust that we fail to realize that they are human just as we are. If we know ourselves well enough then we know that we cannot put trust in people, because they are, in fact, as selfish as we are. Many people use the word "love" so loosely that it has lost its true meaning. Love is commonly…

Please Hit Me With Your Smile Again

I actually got the idea to write this blog from the song posted on my profile, "Asleep at the Trigger" by Autolux.

We go day by day seeing new people and trying to maintain an image that is positive as well as strong and independent of outside forces, but what many people fail to realize is that being strong and "independent" does not mean you shouldn't smile. If anything wearing a smile is the thing that shows people that you are content, comfortable, and positive. A smile…

My Misadventures!

With a life as hectic, fun-filled, adventurous, and tedious as mines, its hard to believe that I ever get anything done. For the past two weeks, my coolest friend and personal assistant, Angelica and I have been in some fairly awkward situations; from chilling in Waikiki to going on a pita chip benge :). Our days are always fun, but there is always a lesson to be learned in the long-run.

Last night's adventure was pretty good. Angelica and I went to the beach with two of our…
