Flick-or-Treat: Ten Flicks to Rock your Halloween Freak

Flick-or-Treat: Ten Flicks to Rock your Halloween Freak

By Hale Mawae

10. Scream. Take a flash back to the 90's when Drew Barrymore was hailed to star in Wes Craven's new slasher flick SCREAM that redefined the horror genre and then killed its "star" within the first 10 minutes of the movie. This Hitchcockian approach did the trick to get us in the theaters and then left us wondering who done it, for a surprise ending that marked the… Continue

It was a fun ride while it lasted. I worked five total days on the Battleship movie. Three days on the USS Missouri, one day at Punchbowl and my last day on the USS Hopper. (So Please bear with Me, if I haven't addressed you individually).

When I finally have the… Continue

Under the Skin: The Spirit of the Tatau

Well, last weekend was awesome. All the actors/actresses, PA's, Make-Up Artists', Wardrobe, Consultants, Laborers and more..........THANK YOU!

This was a complete success and I feel that we captured the spirit and the very essence of the Polynesian culture. Moreover, this was done in a moment's time (film time) and on a micro-budget. Meaning, what we will show in the amount of time given will amaze even the harshest of critics.

I credit my good friend Kaina who of which… Continue
