Actors Core Training is Back in Town July 7-11, 2016

Amy Hill, Yumi Iwama, Brian Mulligan, and Keo Woolford are Actors Core Training. Our once a year trip to teach at U of H Manoa is quickly approaching! We provide our students with the skills they need to build upon their talents, and inspire them to grow artistically wherever they are in their careers, from beginner to pro. Along with the Business of Acting and Scene Study, we will be offering all new classes in Commercial Acting, Voiceover Websites--Booking Jobs Online, and Solo Shows with Amy Hills.

This year, Amy can be seeing regularly in three television series: Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Just Add Magic, and UnREAL. In her Solo Show Workshop, learn how writing your own show can launch a successful acting career.

Yumi will update you on her roles in two feature films this year in The Business of Acting. She will also explain how she created a successful voice over career from home in the Voiceover Websites class, and teach you secrets and tips to help you stand out from the rest.

Brian will bring his experience and skill to the Scene Study Uta Hagen Technique class. Brian successfully completed training in teaching the Uta Hagen technique, and was asked to return to teach the class--one of only two Scene Study teachers on their roster. He will impart his knowledge to the students in a two part scene study class.

Director, producer, and actor Keo (The Haumana) will update you on his current projects as well as the successful acting courses he taught at PNM this year in The Business of Acting. As a Oahu resident, he has his finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry in Hawaii.

Brian and Yumi will also be teaching a TV Commercials class. With numerous national and regional commercial credits including McDonalds, Mercedes, Toyota, Radio Shack, Toys R Us, Target, and AT&T they will teach you how to approach auditions, and the techniques you need to book a commercial.
